My Approach

I am a qualified and experienced Psychosynthesis counsellor.

I offer a calm, non-judgemental, compassionate and homely space to explore what may troubling you in complete confidence.

Psychosynthesis is a 'humanistic' psychology which helps us to realise our true potential, to live in harmony in the world and to improve our relationships. Central to the approach are the goals of harmonising the conflicting parts of our personality, which may be out of balance due to past or present events, and reconnecting with our potential for responsibility, co-operation, love, meaning and purpose. Overall, it is a psychology of HOPE.

Very often it is a crisis, a major life change or a worsening of our symptoms that leads us to counselling and psychotherapy. Examples include: –

  • Abuse

  • Anxiety and Panic Attacks

  • Assertiveness and Confidence

  • Bereavement, grief or loss

  • Depression

  • Family concerns

  • Lack of meaning and purpose

  • Post Natal Depression

  • Redundancy

  • Relationship Difficulties

  • Self-esteem

  • Sexuality

  • Spirituality

  • Stress

  • Trauma
